5 Ways To Effortlessly Increase Sales Conversions…

Lead generation is easy. Yes I’ll say it again, lead generation is easy. Anyone with a credit card and a Facebook account can very effortlessly begin to produce leads for their business with some basic PPC. Now at first you may not be very efficient at it, but after-all, practice makes perfect, and the only way to get to point B is to leave point A. Or in other words… Start driving traffic with paid advertising, lose your e-motional attachment to your advertising dollars, and constantly tweak and optimize your campaigns, and you’ll be more effective at lead generation than 95% of Marketers Online.

What’s actually more important in the equation is having the ability to turn those leads into sales, and those sales into repeat sales. So that’s what we’re going to cover here today.

5 Ways To Effortlessly Increase Sales Conversions…

1. CAPTURE THE LEAD.

Now this should be obvious, but the unfortunate truth is that there are many Online Marketers still sending their Cold Traffic straight to a sales page and not requiring their website visitors to first opt-in with their e-mail address for more information. This is literally the equivelant of taking all of your advertising dollars, throwing 60% of them in a bucket, dowsing them with lighter fluid, and then throwing in a match. Sure, if spend $1,000 you might make $400 back immediately, but the vast majority of sales only come after the 3rd, 4th, or 5th time a prospect see’s your offer. THE FORTUNE IS IN THE FOLLOWUP! So always ask for an e-mail address, and have a strong followup campaign in place (I’d say 7-10 e-mails), and your sales will skyrocket from where they currently are practically overnight.

2. Use a trip-wire offer. 

If you don’t know what a trip-wire offer is and want a more in-depth explanation, checkout THIS POST I wrote a while back. Basically, a trip-wire is a very low cost offer that you immediately show your prospect after they opt-in. It’s usually priced between $1 and $10, and it’s SOLE PURPOSE IS TO ACQUIRE A CUSTOMER. Don’t think of your trip wire as a funded proposal where you’d be trying to make all your advertising dollars back through immediate sales, instead think of it as a way through which you can take your customer on a first date before asking to marry them. It’s simply a means through which you can generate that first sale, and build some trust with your new customer. Remember, once someone is a customer, it’s then 10X easier to sell to them again in the future. Trip wires allow you to attain a maximum number of customers per advertising dollar spent.

3. Have a strong sales funnel in place. 

While all of these aspects of sales conversions are important, this may be the most crucial (along with #1, Capture The Lead I’d say). It’s also one of the areas in which newer or even intermediate Marketers TOTALLY drop the ball. If your only sending your leads to a Trip-Wire offer or Front-End Offer, and don’t have any any backend higher ticket items (anything $500 or over) in your sales funnel, the amount of money you’re leaving on the table IS MONUMENTAL. Remember, once someone purchases something from you, it’s then 10X easier to sell them something else. The problem is, many Marketers DON’T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SELL THOSE NEW CUSTOMERS. Build out a solid sales funnel with higher ticket offers, and at-least give your customer a chance to buy more from you!

4. Sprinkle in some scarcity.

Scarcity, or fear of loss, is an extremely powerful sales motivator. Simply put, people don’t want to miss out on something. They don’t wanna feel left out of the loop. Use that emotional trigger in your Marketing. Whether you only offer a specific number of units (eg: Only 50 Available), or whether you only offer your product or service for a short period of time (Use a countdown timer: eg: Only available for 24 Hours), scarcity will no-doubt increase your sales conversions. The main thing here is to be REAL. Don’t say that there’s only 50 copies of your e-book available when you’ve been selling the thing to 1000’s of people for years… And don’t say that your product is only available for 24 hours if you intend to keep it available in the Marketplace indefinitely. Those are sure ways to burn bridges with your prospects and customers and lose trust and authority. Add scarcity, BUT BE REAL. 

5. Communicate with your “heard”. 

As Dan Kennedy calls it, e-mail list is your “heard”. It’s the group of people who should know, trust, and follow you. But you’re never going to get any of your subscribers to know, trust, or follow you if you NEVER COMMUNICATE WITH THEM. When your building your subscriber list you need to be constantly injecting value into those new subscribers lives. Whether it be with blog posts (like I am here), Youtube videos, or maybe a podcast (or all three if you’re ambitious), you need to have some sort of medium through which you communicate with your list, and you need to do it constantly. Constancy builds familiarity, familiarity builds trust, and trust equals sales. Get in front of your list often and always offer value, and your sales %%%’s are sure to rise.

In conclusion: Your business’s survival comes down to SALES. Not Facebook likes, not twitter followers, not even leads generated. While those can all help you drive sales, sales themselves are what in the end put money in your pocket and food on the table. No sales, and your out of business. So if you’re struggling with sales, step it up and implement some of what I’ve talked about here. If you want to kill it, implement all 5 of the different tactics, and you’ll get a compounding effect that will take your revenue to the next level.

    Yes I did get value on your post “5 Ways To Effortlessly Increase Sales Conversions.”

    I heard of it before the trip offer and on the back-end having a higher priced offer to increase sales.

    I have a lot to learn but with a little patience and steadfast determination it will pay off.

    I expect results in my learning in the near future, but have not hit the mark due to losing if quite a few shiny bullets on the market!

    But ah, learn from our experiences is important, and especially from like-minded people like you!

    Yes, have a trip-wire and well built backend will help your conversions and overall revenues a ton. There are some done for you options called “Licensing Programs” that can be good options until you setup your own complete funnel.

    Keep hustling and taking action and the results will follow.
