How Often You Should Really E-mail Your List…
One of the most frequently asked questions in the Internet Marketing world is, “how often should I e-mail my list“? It arises due to the fact that everyone knows the importance of building an e-mail list, and many people have built e-mail lists, but very few actually understand how to monetize their e-mail lists.
The first thing you have to realize is that the only way you’re ever going to generate any significant revenue through your e-mail list is if you have a relationship built with your e-mail list… If you have enough goodwill built up with the subscribers of your list that when you recommend a product or service, they have faith in the fact that you would never recommend them anything that wouldn’t bring immense value to their lives.
Next you have to look at how you build that relationship… And the only way the I personally know of is through providing immense levels of value based, problem solving content that will legitimately solve the problems that the individuals who make up your list are facing. In becoming the problem solver, you become the trusted authority and leader.
Which brings us to the ever sought after answer to then “how often should I e-mail my list” question: You should e-mail your list as often as you feel that your capable of producing problem solving value based content that will genuinely add value to the lives of your subscribers.
Even your sales messages should provide value… Whether it be a simple story about how a product or service helped you and how it will help your audience, a breakdown (review) of exactly what your buyers will get upon buying, or maybe even a full on launch series, your sales messages need to provide value…
When every one of your e-mails is problem solving and value based… you can e-mail your list as often as you’d like. I know for a fact that Daegan Smith used to e-mail his list 2x a day, and never burnt out his subscribers. How? He focused on providing problem solving, value based content that would add value to the lives of his subscribers in every e-mail. In doing so, mailing as often as he did didn’t actually burn his list out, but instead grew the relationship and trust that he had with his list, while simultaniously generating sales and revenues for him and his business.
You should e-mail your list as often as you feel that your capable of producing problem solving value based content that will genuinely add value to the lives of your subscribers.
