If you missed chapter two, be sure to go back and check it out here now

They’re both loaded with golden nuggets and you won’t want to miss either of them.

Now for todays message…

Todays episode is going to be a little bit more “philosophical” if you will.

I’ll share a few recourses to additional “how to” trainings, but understand that none of them will be worth anything to you without adapting and applying the philosophies outlined here…

1. Nothing worth talking about comes without really, really, really hard work.

To many people are looking for the magic pill. They’re looking for a free ticket into the promised land, a shortcut that will allow them to reap all of the rewards, without putting in any of the work.

Learning how to write irresistible e-mails and then writing two of them per day like I talk about in this post takes work (btw… the 2 e-mail per day strategy is the followup strategy that I’ve found works best in my business).

Learning how to host webinars, putting hundreds of slides worth of content together, and then hosting them week after week takes work… A lot of it.

Learning how to create offers and present them in a way that get’s people to buy takes work, and quite a bit of thought… which is actually nearly as import as work.

All of the leaders that I know in the Online space do things a little bit differently than each other. Some people like blogging, some people like video marketing, some people like Solo Ads (like I do), and some like Facebook.

The commonality is that we’ve all worked extremely hard to become proficient at the skill-sets that we’ve chosen to use in our businesses, and we’ve all reaped the rewards of putting in the work.

Nothing worth talking about will come for free… Embrace doing the work, and understand that it’s vitally important if you’re to create success.

2. The only way you can truly fail is to quit.

One thing that I’ve come to accept as a fact is that after every great breakdown, proceed a great breakthrough.

Every-time I’ve moved forward in my business has been directly AFTER I’ve experienced some kind of set back.

Whether it be a mental breakdown, a drop in my numbers, a breakdown in my systems or processes, or a myriad of other issues I’ve dealt with, every time I’ve ever had a set back but have still focused on pushing forward in my business, a great breakthrough has proceeded.

Most people simply give up to early.

When they experience there first little setback, whether it be an unprofitable ad campaign, people not opening or buying from there e-mails, or maybe hosting a webinar that no-one shows up to, they immediately turn around and start pointing fingers.

“This doesn’t actually work”.

“I knew this whole Internet Marketing thing was a scam”.

Ect. ect. ect.

One mindset that I’ve always had in my business is, “If someone else if having success with something and I’m not, well, it obviously must be something that I’m not quite doing right.”

If someones having success with Facebook ads, and you’re not, it’s not the platforms fault… It’s most likely your lack of skill-sets and ability to produce the result you’re looking for.

The same holds true with everything else.

Solo Ads, PPV, PPC, Webinar Presentation, and so on and so forth… If someone else is having success with those tactics and strategies and you’re not… Well, logic would say that it’s not the platforms or mediums fault.

So whenever you experience a breakdown in your business that frustrates you and pushes you back on your journey, instead of looking at it as a deal breaker, understand that if you keep pushing forward, your breakthrough will come come… It’s 110% a matter of hunger and persistence.

The bottom line, DON’T ever quit.

3. The more people you help and value you provide, the better off you’ll do.

Whenever you stop thinking in a “transactional” mindset, and come more from a place of wanting to build a business that actually gives back and serves people in a true and meaningful way, I can guarantee you that you’ll experience a HUGE breakthrough in your business.

To many people focus solely on making the sale, and not on genuinely helping the people around them.

That means that they only ever make the FIRST sale, and never experience just how easy it can be in order to make big profits through making sales to REPEAT customers.

Stop worrying so much about making the sale, and instead start focusing on genuinely helping people.

Provide value to the marketplace, help your team-mates, and genuinely help the subscribers on your e-mail lists.

Get out of the “transactional” type of thinking, and instead focus on genuinely helping and serving people.

Create content that serves people, help other people work through the challenges they’re facing in there businesses, and try to put just as much emphasis on the success of your customers and teammates, as on your own.

In conclusion, always focus on providing value and helping others, understand that the only way you’ll ever truly fail is if you quit, and understand that if you’re not willing to put in the sometimes tedious number of hours required to be successful with your business, chances are you’ll never break through.
