The Cost Of Spending To Much Time Worrying…

worrying

Happy Friday. 🙂 Hope you’re doing well and hope you’re getting ready for an awesome weekend with the friends and family.

Running an Online Business can at times become a little bit addicting, and at times can begin to completely and totally take over your life…

…But if we circle back to WHY we actually got started with our Online Businesses in the first place, the usual answer is very simple and very clear… FREEDOM.

So don’t forget to enjoy some of that freedom your Online Business grants you this weekend with some good quality time with your friends and loved ones. 🙂

In todays quick e-mail I want to share with you a quote that I heard at a recent event I went to (yes I actually attend events to just like I tell you to do!) that I found very powerful and something that I feel like many can identify with.

See, sometimes we all get pulled down into worrying. We worry about what may happen next, what will happen “if”, what people may think of us “if”, ect.

Usually what we worry about never actually happens anyway, and we waste all of our precious energy worrying instead of being productive.

It’s an unfortunate trend, and something that I’ve definitely dealt with in the past.

The quote I want to share with you (that I hope will change your perspective) is aimed at bringing perspective to your worrying, and is aimed at making you realize what you’re giving up in doing so.

The quote…

“Worry is simply misused imagination”.

When you worry about something, you’re imaging what could go WRONG instead of what could go RIGHT.

You’re focusing on all of the potential negatives instead of the potential positives, and are misusing what imagination you do have.

Realize that every single day you only have a certain “quota” of imagination to tap into.

You can’t worry for first 3/4’s of the day, and then instantly snap into productive critical thinking.

Or I should say, you can, but it won’t get you very far.

Understand that you’re ability to think critically, innovate, and continually improve is the only thing that’ll keep you pushing forward and keep your bottomline growing.

If you’re wasting all of creative thinking time on worrying, well, you’re never going to get anywhere…

…And chances are it’ll feel as if you’re spinning your wheels putting in countless hours with nothing to show for it.

My challenge to you…

The next time you find yourself worrying about something that may go wrong, catch yourself in the action, and then instead get excited about what might go RIGHT.

Use your mental energy to come up with new, innovative, and revolutionary ideas instead of worrying about all of the little things.

If you get into the habit of keeping yourself from worrying about the little things, and then at the same time re-frame the conversation going on in your head to instead be positive, good things WILL happen…

You’ll find yourself coming up with new ideas that produce new revenue and change more peoples lives in the process.

You’ll find that you make money money with less overall effort, and you’ll find that you enjoy the journey that much more… Which in the end, is all that matters.

In the end, whether you want to make a million dollars or just 10k a month, if you want to enjoy your life more and actually enjoy the journey that you’re on as an entrepreneur…

Start focusing your imagination on all of the amazing opportunities and endless potential that you’re presented with on a daily basis.

Use your imagination to push yourself forward into the dream life that you KNOW you deserve…
