Chances Are, It’s Probably Not Your Fault…

I did a little Facebook live on this topic for my Super Affiliate Network members about a week ago… But I think it’s important enough to re-iterate for you here today.

Here’s the dealio…

Chances are that if your currently struggling in your Online Business, it’s not actually your fault.

We’re told SO MUCH that we need to take responsibility, own up to our own failures, and look ourself in the mirror when we’re not getting the result we want…

…And don’t get my wrong, I’m all for that.

You HAVE to take responsibility for your actions, both positive, or negative, or you give your inherent power and ability to create results away.

The minute that you credit something outside of yourself for your failure, you give that thing power over you being able to create the result you’re looking for moving foward.

Where on the flip-side, if you take it upon yourself to say “Well, I probably just don’t have the skill-sets necessary to complete that activity effectively yet, you preserve your power as you understand that IF you work on that skill-set, you WILL create the result you want.

Having said that though, on the flip-side, you have to be EASY on yourself, and realize that if you don’t immediately hit a home-run your first at bat, well, it’s probably not your fault.

The truth is that the system conditions you to be a certain way.

It conditions you to take orders, to follow the leader, to fit in, and to take orders.

From the moment you get into the first grade, you’re taught that as long as you follow instructions and pass the tests, you’ll be good.

You’re taught NOT to question things…

…Not to go against the grain, and at a core level, you’re taught NOT to think for yourself.

In a nutshell, you’re taught and conditioned to be an employee.

…And your conditioned to be an employee for literally decades on end.

What that means for you…

When you get started with your little Online Business, chances are that you’ll have a few habits to break.

You’ll have a few patterns to change, and you’ll have to get used to a whole new level of thinking.

You’re going to have to “un-teach” yourself everything that that system has conditioned you to learn.

You’re going to have to break habits, learn to think for yourself, and accept the responsibilities that come along with being an entrepreneur (and FYI, there’s a WHOLE lot more than when you’re an employee).

You’re going to have to become a problem solver, and become a creative thinker.

You’re going to have shift near EVERY pattern of behavior that you’ve been engrained to follow.

So here’s my message for you today….

Take a step back from the self criticism and be EASY on yourself.

Commit to the process and commit to mastery, but don’t beat yourself up when things don’t go just the way you planned them.

Understand that you have YEARS of conditioning that the system has put you through, that you now have to undo.

Understand that if you’re currently struggling, it’s probably NOT your fault, but more the fault of a system that has conditioned you to fail from the first day that you stepped into the first grade.

Understand also that you’re noble for taking the action steps that you are.

You’re noble for being willing to make changes that will better your future and the future of your family. You’re noble for being willing to step out of your comfort zone and into the unknown. You’re noble for being a risk taker who’s willing to put it all on the line to potentially create a reality that you love.

Stop beating yourself up so much, learn to enjoy the process, realize that it’s probably not your fault if you’re currently struggling, as you’ve been conditioned with ALL of the wrong habits for YEARS on end.

Push forward, learn new skill-sets, improve your existing ones, and dedicate yourself to the process.

If you do, you can’t really “fail”. You’ll make mistakes and you’ll learn valuable lessons…

…Which will only improve your chances of massive success.
