Jax Teller And Your Business’s Survival…

I don’t know about you… but I fuc*en loved “The Sons Of Anarchy”. I began watching back when the first season aired and I was 17, and thoroughly enjoyed all 7 years.

It was a fascinating journey in which we witnessed struggle, pain, love and death, some of which at times was painful to watch… i.e Tara’s death…

And as you probably know, last night’s finale was no different. It was an entertaining and action packed episode filled with violence, and mayhem, and a closing scene that left most fans feeling a bittersweet melancholy.

After 7 years of witnessing his adventures and growing an almost friendship like bond with Jax and the gang, we watched on helplessly as Jax took his own life in a grande finale.

It was a fitting end, as Jax went out the same way his father had, and hopefully to a place more comforting than what this world had to offer such a tormented soul…

But if you’re a fan, I’m sure you’d agree it was a bittersweet close.

But what does any of this have to do with you and your business?

Well lets dig in…

Throughout the 7 seasons Jax had a vision for what he wanted his club to become. A vision passed down by his late father and former club president J.T. … That one day his club would separate from the murderous business’s of drug dealing and gun running, and go completely legit once and fore-all.

Throughout each season we witnessed as Jax wrestled with trying to step into his vision whilst simultaniously being pulled back into the vast darkness. The same darkness that ended up taking his life.

For every one step forward he’d take two steps back, constantly having to do “one last run”, “one last deal”, or kill “one last person”.

It became a recurring theme… that of which lead to the murder of his wife, him slaying his own mother, and eventually his own demise.

There was always another “one last XYZ” that kept him from fully stepping into his vision.

This constant procrastination in fully committing to doing the right thing is what lead directly into pain, struggle, despair and eventually death…

…And it’s what will lead to the inevitable death of your business if you don’t take it into account, and make adjustments based on it.

So ask yourself…

What’s the “one last thing” your telling yourself you have to do before you fully commit to your business and vision of a brighter future?

What getting in your way?

Is it a limiting belief about what you think you can or can’t accomplish?

Is it a state of “information overload” brought on by you not taking action?

Is it simply that you don’t feel as if you have enough time in your day in order to really make this thing work?

Is it some sort of financial situation or fear of a potential failure?

What’s stopping you from taking the action steps you need to take? The action steps that Jax should have took…

I want you to take a minute today and reflect upon what you feel is TRULY holding you back. What’s TRULY keeping you from stepping forward with conviction? What’s TRULY stopping you from building the business that you dream about.

The people who take the time to figure out what’s holding them back, and and address the issue head on are the people who will make things happen in 2015.
