“Misha, If It’s So Good, Why Not Just Give It To Me For Free?”

Earlier today I had a question come up from one of our Super Affiliate Network members.

It came from someone who was interested in getting started with our PRO level of membership, but who was a little bit skeptical, and as a result, was hesitating to pull the trigger.

After going over his options 3-4 times, and hearing over and over about just how good the offer actually was…

He came up with the following question…

“Misha, if it’s so good, why not just give it to me for free, and then let me pay you with the profits?”

When the question came up, I chuckled…

As I’ve heard it about a thousand times, and in this case, I saw it coming a mile away.

As a reply, I told him a little story…

A story that I want to take a minute today and share with you as well, as it’s something that perfectly illustrates just how important it is to actually invest in your business and skill-sets.

A few years ago, I was at a point in my journey where I knew that in order to get to the next level, I had to master the art of selling.

I had gotten the other stuff down, but selling was the next thing to tackle.

I had just seen the movie “Wolf Of Wallstreet”, and while I had no interest in screwing innocent people out of all of their money (like some of the big-time “gooorooos” do), I DID want to learn how Jordan (the wolf) sold so damn well.

The problem… His “Straight Line Persuasion” course was $2,000, and at the time, I didn’t have that liquidated.

I had figured out how to make money, but not how to keep it.

Then, the stars aligned for me…

A few days later one of my buddies from out of town came to the Island.

He’s a portfolio manager and a wall-street genius by profession, and he’s got more than a few connections.

After a few minutes of telling him where I was at in my business and where I wanted to go next, he picked up the phone, called Jordans assistant at the time, and got me FREE access to his training course!

I was incredibly excited and eternally grateful.

What happened next is the funny part.

I went through the first 30 minutes or so of the course, and then got distracted by other stuff that came up.

I got sucked back into the day to day activities that I had been focusing on, and put going through the course on the back-burner.

I had just gotten FREE access to the course I had wanted to go through so bad but didn’t do ANYTHING with what I was given.

About 3-4 months passed (the timelines all a little bit fuzzy), and I remembered that I had the course and needed to go through it.

I went to log in, and to my dismay, the platform that they had been using for their membership site had changed, and I no longer had free access.

I was back to square one.

Too embarrassed to call my friend and admit to him that I hadn’t gone through the course when he had gotten it for me the first time, I was forced to shell out the $2,000 and invest in the program.

Within 2-3 days of doing so, I had been through the whole program cover to cover, and within a week of doing so, I had been through the whole thing twice.

Now, why do you think I went through it this time SO QUICKLY compared to the first go around?

That’s right… Because I had pulled out my credit card and invested in the program.

See, the minute you invest financially in something, naturally, you have more skin in the game and you take it more seriously.

You know the time and effort that went into making the money that you just parted with for the program, and as a result, you take the program more seriously.

You go through the content…

You absorb the information…

You take action on what it teaches…

And if the course is actually valuable and the strategies it teaches are the real deal, you produce results as a byproduct of taking action.

On the flip-side, if you always get everything for free… As nice as it sounds in theory, you end up never truly appreciating what you’re given, and as a result, you don’t take it seriously, and never take any real action.

If you’re like I was, maybe you don’t even take the time go through the course.

The bottom line is this…

If you actually want to create progress in your business, get comfortable with investing.

Investing in your intellectual capital is the ultimate form of maturity in an Entrepreneur, and from what I’ve found, the more you invest and the more often you invest, the bigger and faster your business grows.

STOP looking for the “cheapest” route (which always ends up being the most expensive), and instead, get comfortable with the process of investing in your future.

If you do, you’ll find that progress comes naturally, and hitting your goals becomes the regular standard.
