Why “How Often Should I E-mail My List?” Is The Wrong Question To Be Asking…
Everyone always asks “How often should I e-mail my list?”.Â
Truth be told though, that’s the wrong question for you to be asking yourself, or anyone for that matter. Why? Because the answer to that question is completely dependent on the answer to another question not many Marketers take into consideration.
The answer to that question is completely dependent upon how often you feel you can provide real, quality value to the lives of your subscribers. Realize that the only way your e-mail list will ever serve as an asset to you and your business is if you build rapport and responsiveness with that list by offering it high quality, problem solving value that genuinely helps your subscribers on a regular basis. Â
What you should be asking yourself is: How often can I provide valuable, problem solving content to the actual human beings who make up my list?Â
If you feel as if you can provide value daily, by all means e-mail your list daily. If you feel like you can provide value weekly, e-mail your list weekly. If you feel like you can provide value 2x a day, e-mail your list 2x a day. The more value you give your e-mail list on a predictable and consistent basis, the more responsive that e-mail list will be.
Focus on providing value over selling, and your list will serve as a long-term asset for you and your business.
