BS Hype, $100 Bills, and Lamborghini’s…
Todays Internet Marketing world is filled with spammy “look how much money I make” websites, e-mails, and Facebook posts. Its unfortunate, because I personally believe that it’s one of the major aspects of our industry that gives us Internet Marketers and Network Marketers a bad rep… but it does more than just that.
By only focusing and Marketing the “money making” portion of what your business has to offer, not only do you turn off a very large percentage of possible buyers/team-mates, but you also fail to tap into the market of individuals who might be looking to get involved with a home based business for other reasons, i.e. time freedom, the ability to work from home, or anywhere for that matter, complete and total control of your financial destiny, ect.
You also shoot yourself in the foot once more by only focusing on Marketing the “make money fast” hype…
By only Marketing the hype, you attract the worst type of individual into your business. You attract the freebie seekers who are going to suck up your time and energy, and then blame you when they don’t succeed.
Ever experienced that? Ya it sucks. I’ve been there.
Do yourself a favor and STOP posting photos of $100 bills that aren’t yours. Stop posting fake screenshots of income statements that you found of google, and INSTEAD, start contributing valuable information (this blog post as an example) to your Marketplace which will brand you as an expert, AND attract a much higher level of prospect and customer/team-mate long term.
It takes about 90 days of consistent blog posts for you to start generation significant Traffic, Leads, and Sales, but after those 90 days pass, and you start to experience the compounding effect of consistent content generation, you’ll be SO happy you started TODAY.
…and your bank account will thank you too. 🙂
To Success, Yours and Mine.
