Vick Strizheus is an absolute animal of a Marketer. He’s one of the few guys who can join literally anything and absolutely dominate. He’s been the top earner in 4-5 affiliate programs, and now has many six figure earners as students.
But there’s a huge misconception in our industry in regards to WHY vick is successful. You see, if you were to take 50 online entrepreneurs and ask them why Vick is so successful, I guarantee you that 48 of them would all say that it’s because he’s a Traffic Magician. And while it’s very true that Vick is very good at generating targeted traffic, the truth is that that skill is NOT what makes him successful. It’s only a little piece of the puzzle.
One of the biggest differentiators between Marketers who actually “get it” and Marketers who constantly struggle, is how they view traffic generation. Marketers like Vick Strizheus, who are in the know, and do “get it”, realize that driving traffic really isn’t the real Marketing. The real Marketing only begins AFTER the traffic has been driven, and more specifically, THE LEAD HAS BEEN CAPTURED.
Remember, 97% of people won’t buy on the first point of contact. Meaning 97% of people who come through your funnel WON’T BUY, EVEN THOUGH THEY’VE SHOWN INTEREST IN A PRODUCT OR SERVICE SIMILAR TO YOURS.
This means that your left with a list of people who have expressed interest, but just decided against buying for some reason or another. Maybe the timing wasn’t right, or maybe they’d already seen and come to a conclusion about not wanting to buy your particular offer you’d shown them on the first point of contact.
What you must realize is this: Where most all of your money will be made in your business is though building a relationship with, and monetizing that other 97% of people who came through your funnel, but DIDN’T BUY.
That skill of relationship building and list monetization is what Vick is an absolute MASTER AT. Vicks subscribers are some of the most loyal subscribers any Marketer could ever have… And they’ll buy literally anything that Vick ever offers.
But now for what’s most important:
How do you build that relationship?
In a sentence, become a problem solver. Figure out who your target market is, and figure out what problems they face. Figure out what they’re frustrations are, figure out where they feel pain and struggle, and then solve those problems for them. Do it through blog posts, webinars, and podcast episodes. Even just simple Facebook wall posts will do if they truly speak to your Customer Avatars core problems.
Solve enough problems for your e-mail list and subscriber base over a consistent period of time, and you’ll soon have a loyal following just like Vick does today.
